As we prepare for the 2020-21 academic year, we realize that COVID-19 has had a significant impact on our students and their families financially. UB’s leadership is focused on keeping the cost of a UB education as affordable as possible. Below is a summary of approved tuition and fees for fall 2020 with additional information to provide clarity on how these rates were defined and how they will be used.
eBill notifications for fall 2020 semester will be emailed to students August 19.

UB has added some convenience features to make it easier for students and families to pay their bill, including:
For the safety of students and staff, payments will no longer be accepted in-person in 1Capen. Students are asked to pay online, through QuikPay (in your HUB Student Center). When paying online, payments are posted to the student account in real-time. There is no additional charge for payments made with a credit card, debit card or eCheck.
UB’s Payment Plan allows families to spread tuition and fee payments over several payments each semester. It is not a loan program and the service is provided interest-free.
UB enhanced its Payment Plan to include these new features.
Checks and money orders are the only form of payment that will be accepted through the mail. If you wish to pay by mail:
