This form is to be completed when a rabbit is administered a sedative that does not result in complete unconsciousness (rabbit still responds to certain stimuli) or is administered a sedative prior to euthanasia. Rabbits placed under general anesthesia for surgical or other procedures should be monitored as per SOP 2A14 on an “Anesthesia Monitoring/Surgery/Post-Operative Report."
