Recreation Closing Early on Wed., 2/22/23

Recreation will be cancelling all programming and closing all facilities beginning at 5pm on Wednesday, 2/22/23. We will also be delaying opening on Thursday, 2/23/23 until 9am.

UB has cancelled all evening classes and activities, across all three campuses, that begin at 5 p.m. or later for Wednesday, Feb. 22, due to inclement weather.

The National Weather Service of Buffalo has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the area beginning Wednesday afternoon through Thursday. Periods of snow, sleet and freezing rain are possible during the storm, making travel difficult.

University officials will continue to monitor weather conditions Wednesday evening and Thursday morning.  If a decision is made to delay operations or cancel morning classes and activities on Thursday due to severe weather, the university will communicate to the UB community in several ways, including via UB Alert.
