Researchers from four State University of New York campuses; University at Buffalo (UB), Stony Brook University (SBU), SUNY Polytechnic Institute (Poly), and University at Albany (UA), as well as the Advanced Science Research Center at the City University of New York (CUNY) are conducting transformational research in quantum science and engineering in a highly collaborative manner, integrating experiment, predictive theory, data analysis, education and community outreach in partnership with the National Laboratories and industry partners.
This year several SUNY teams responded to the National Science Foundation's Quantum Leap Conceptualization Grant solicitation and were awarded two grants to develop quantum capabilities in research and education in collaboration with national labs and industry.
