I have been working at UB for a little over a month. I enjoy every moment with my UB colleagues.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

The most exciting part of my job is the dynamic but structural daily schedule.

What's the most challenging part about your job?

I meet new people almost every day and I certainly need the skill of remembering and correctly pronouncing everyone's names.

What would you say is your most significant achievement at UB?

I am contributing to the daily, routine management of multiple centers, labs and institutes within SEAS.

Tell us something about your department that isn't well known.

The Office of Strategic Initiatives in SEAS is new. We interact with all cross-department, cross-disciplinary, and cross-decanal unit initiatives.

If you were to share some advice for other professional staff, what would it be?

Don't be afraid of asking for help.

Do you have any hobbies? What do you do for fun?

I love singing. I am a member in a local choir group.

Do you have a favorite meal you like to prepare?

I don’t have one favorite meal, but I like to cook different varieties of food, such as lamb shank, shepherds pie, and dumplings.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

I love traveling. It gives me different experiences. My most favorite place is the Caribbean. I enjoy sitting quietly on the white-sand beach and sensing the warm, calm sea.

Any other fun facts about you?

I am left-handed, but I can play badminton using both of my hands.
