Buffalo high school students Africa Rogers, Olmstead; Ereden Dominguez and Adeline Heftka, City Honors; Aolani McDow, Performing Arts; and Aria Dasher, South Park, have been busy this summer working on a mural for newly renovated Foster Hall, which is slated to become the home of the Graduate School of Education. Students toured the South Campus building with GSE faculty and learned about the renovation process and the building's history from Kelly Hayes McAlonie, director of campus planning. After gaining a deeper understanding of what UB and the GSE mean to those who work and study here, the students worked with Mural Mania staff to identify themes that inspired their creativity.
