Parking and Transportation Services is prepared to get you on the roadway to success.
If you plan on driving it is important to know about LPR on campus. The university uses license plate recognition technology (LPR) which requires you to register your license plate. Login to the Parking E-Business Center to register your plate or make sure the information we already have is correct before you park on campus. Check the signage at lot entrances to make sure you are parked in a lot designated for you.
The first week of classes, our Information Ambassadors will be on duty to help you find parking and assist with your wayfinding questions. Learn where the Park and Ride Lots are and never have trouble finding a parking spot. From there, our shuttles will take you where you need to go.
Our transportation team is ready to get you to class, on time, with our fleet of UB Stampede buses and campus shuttles. Check the online schedules for departure times and keep an eye on the Transportation Tracker to see when your bus or shuttle will arrive.
If you have a scheduled appointment at Student Health Services, our Student Health Services shuttles are ready to get you there on time.
Need to shop? Our Shopping Shuttles will take you to Tops , the Asia Food Market, Walmart, as well as other locations!
A bit of exercise and fresh air can be enjoyed on a bicycle, and if you don’t have your own, borrow one from the UB Bikeshare network. Bring your bike to a free Bike Tune-Up event coming to North, South, and Downtown Campuses this September.
You are just getting here, but look ahead to a visit back home and book a ride on the UB Express Bus Home. Travel to New York City, Albany, Syracuse and Binghamton for your breaks.
Finally, look for helpful people all around. Information Ambassadors will be at bus stops to give directions and answer your questions. Parking Ambassadors can be found in the parking lots to assist with your wayfinding. Parking and Transportation Services is here to get you off to a great start this semester!
