Get There Green! Parking and Transportation Services is encouraging everyone to take action during Climate Week, Sept. 18 through 22, by using a more sustainable mode of transportation for as many trips as they can.

You can do your part to Get There Green by:

  • Walking
  • Biking
  • Taking Transit
  • Carpooling
  • Driving an Electric Vehicle; or any other mode of transportation that is not driving alone in a fossil fuel-powered vehicle

The Agency Competition is Back!

This year marks the return of the green transportation agency challenge (UB is a past multi-time winner!) We’ll be competing against other agencies to see which one can have the highest percentage of employees participating in Get There Green!

You can register your green trip on the registration form. It only takes a minute!

How to Get There Green

  • Register – Complete the registration form.
  • Take Your Trip(s) – Simply walk, bike, take transit, carpool, drive an electric vehicle, or use another form of sustainable transportation for at least one trip.
  • Post – While on your trip(s), and in a safe manner, take a selfie and post it to social media using #GTG23 to let everyone know about your awesome green trip!

You can find resources on how to green your trips, on the Get There Green! webpage.
