NFTA-Metro Buses to Use Main Circle Loop During University Station Work

The bus loop at the NFTA-Metro Rail University Station will close for reconstruction on Wed., May 31. Many Metro Bus routes will be diverted to the Main Circle bus loop servicing the UB Stampede.
The station will remain open during construction and the Metro Rail line will operate on its regular schedule. Riders will have to access the Metro Rail from the upper entrance across from Main Circle while the work is in progress.
The project is to widen the bus loop, making more room for buses to navigate. Work is expected to be completed by the end of summer.
