Li Lin is an expert in industrial and systems engineering, a field that aims to help organizations improve their performance and save time, money and other resources by optimizing operations.
His research has focused on areas that include improving health care delivery and maximizing efficiencies in hospital, manufacturing and airport security settings.
He can discuss workflow, the use of computer simulations to study and boost efficiency, and the impact of facility layouts on performance. He has partnered with industry on a variety of projects, including initiatives to help companies optimize the way they use their space.
