Kathryn Bryk Friedman is a multidisciplinary scholar and legal practitioner with a focus on Canada-U.S. law and policy.
She can speak to the media about the relationship between Canada and the United States, encompassing issues such as policy, trade, labor mobility and border security. In addition to her role at UB, Friedman is a Global Fellow at The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars’ Canada Institute.
Friedman is also an expert on water law and policy in the Great Lakes region and in New York State.
