Getting downtown to a baseball game or to a waterfront concert
is easy with Buffalo’s public
transportation system, which includes light rail and an
extensive network of buses. And, the Metro Rail line connects
UB’s South Campus with downtown Buffalo and the neighborhoods
Buffalo is home to three professional athletic teams: the Bills (American football), Sabres (ice hockey) and Bandits (indoor lacrosse). And if you enjoy spending time outdoors, the Buffalo-Niagara region is an ideal place to be. The area is bounded by two of the Great Lakes (Erie and Ontario), among several other waterways perfect for kayaking or sailing. Just south of the city are also several highly rated skiing and snowboarding resorts.
