Payment Timetable and Options

We understand that pursuing a superior education is an investment in your future. UB helps you by providing several payment methods and options.

What is billed?

Types of costs

Examples

How will I be billed?

University costs

Tuition, fees, and food and housing if living on campus.

You will be billed directly to your UB student account.

Non-university costs

Off-campus housing, off-campus dining, books, supplies and personal expenses.

These charges are not billed to your student account.

Paper tuition bills are not mailed. Students will receive an electronic billing statement (eBill) emailed only to their UB email account. Details about your UB bill and payments will be made through your HUB Student Center portal (you will receive access after you arrive on campus). Students can give a parent or guardian access to a payment page so that payments can be made on behalf of the student.

When is payment due?

University costs are charged by semester (not annually)

Normally, you will pay each semester's charges before the start of the semester.
