About The Center for Industrial Effectiveness (TCIE)

TCIE focuses on improving the enterprise performance of organizations by developing excellence in people, processes and technology. The TCIE team helps resolve a wide spectrum of business challenges through customized solutions. Using OpEx/continuous improvement consultation, TCIE works with businesses to help develop efficient processes combined with a supportive company culture. To solve technical challenges, TCIE serves as a gateway to accessing high-quality engineering research and development ventures—connecting clients with world-class faculty experts and student talent from any of UB’s nine engineering departments. TCIE also has professional development opportunities, providing business leaders with valued skill sets to boost job performance and better support a company’s strategy.

TCIE serves clients of all types and sizes including manufacturers, banks, governments, hospitals, educational institutions and non-profit agencies.
