The world needs doers — graduates who can apply their learning to real-world contexts and challenges, assessing needs and opportunities, and adding value through innovation and collaboration. Your majors and degrees are important, but why stop there? The Experiential Learning Network will help you to customize your education through project-based collaboration.
The Experiential Learning Network launched the university’s Project Portal in 2019, a central place where students can find exciting and relevant experiences to gain skills, explore their passions and make a positive impact in the world under the mentorship of UB faculty, alumni and community partners. From research and creative activities to community collaborations with partners in Buffalo and around the world, the Project Portal is one of the best places to start exploring.
Once projects are under way, students are eligible to apply for up to $500 in funding for their projects or to present at a conference.
All undergraduate students are welcome to participate in projects listed on the Project Portal.
