The Western New York Prosperity Fellowship Program offers financial assistance and professional development opportunities for entrepreneurial-minded students with a commitment to advancing economic development in the Western New York region.

About WNY Prosperity Fellowship Program

Sponsored by the Prentice Family Foundation, Prosperity Fellows are awarded up to $25,000 in the form of scholarships and paid, credit-bearing internships for one academic year based on demonstrated financial need. This support is intended to offset tuition and related academic costs for a full academic year, including compensation for tuition and fees and a modest stipend for a summer internship in their field.

More than a scholarship, the fellowship program offers year-round networking events with business and community leaders in Western New York, including complimentary membership to attend meetings and trainings sponsored by the Buffalo Niagara Partnership 360 Program, Explore Buffalo and the Western New York Venture Association. Fellows are also eligible to participate in workshops, events and competitions offered through UB Blackstone LaunchPad.

With many opportunities to explore the Western New York region and network with leading industry professionals through internships and events, fellows are well-positioned to join existing companies or create new businesses and jobs in the region upon graduation.
