Congratulations on being accepted to the University at Buffalo! This information will help guide you on the process to getting started in the Master of Professional Studies in Data Sciences and Applications Program.
Incoming students must attend the SEAS Orientation. This orientation is typically held the week before Fall Semester classes start.
All incoming students must attend the program-specific orientation where they will go over the full details of the program, plan of study, advising, culminating experience, and more. This orientation typically is held the week before Fall Semester classes start.
The program is a cohort style, and all students take the same four classes their first semester. The graduate coordinator will email course registration forms which students must sign to acknowledge their schedule, and then send back. The graduate coordinator registers all students for first-semester classes. Students are not able to self-register.
Once you have been accepted into the program and have questions about getting started with the degree program, please feel free to reach out to the graduate coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org
