Visiting UB

Traveling to Buffalo...

By Air?

It's easy and cheap to fly to Buffalo. The Buffalo Niagara International Airport boasts some of the most affordable airfares in the United States, as ranked by The Wall Street Journal. There are more than 100 nonstop daily flights, and Buffalo is only an hour’s flight from New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago and Washington, D.C.

By Train?

Amtrak services the Buffalo Niagara region with two train stations: one located in downtown Buffalo at Exchange Street, near our light rail line, and a second in the Buffalo suburb of Depew, a 20-minute drive from UB’s North Campus.

By Bus?

Bus service to Buffalo is offered through three large carriers, Greyhound, Megabus and Trailways, with stops in downtown Buffalo and at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.

And when you reach Buffalo, consider the extensive public bus and light rail system. NFTA-Metro provides inexpensive routes from the airport, bus terminal, and Exchange Street train station.
