Help build the vision

Building the vision

We are raising $200 million for the new medical school from generous alumni and friends. Every gift counts. Help us get to the finish line by January 2018.

Naming opportunities

Opportunities are available for you to leave your mark in the heart of Downtown Buffalo. Learning stations, lounges, and plaques can cement your legacy as part of the new building.

Watch the building come alive

Classes Begin January 2018

This year we open our doors to the incoming class of 2021 in an all-new school on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. The new building—and its students and faculty—will be connected to the Buffalo General Medical Center, the new John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital, Roswell Park Cancer Institute and the school’s new Clinical and Translational Research Center.

We have increased the size of our faculty by 100 and increased the size of the entering class from 140 to 180. This adds clinical services and training programs not now available in Buffalo and addresses the local and national need for more U.S. medical school graduates.

To build a completely new medical school is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Embrace the challenge.
