Our Research

  • Conduct studies aimed at understanding the different types of MS
  • Seek to discover predictors of disease progression (genetic and environmental interactions)
  • Participate in clinical research as part of the National Pediatric MS Network comprised of “centers of excellence” designated by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society
  • Examine MS therapies and how they affect patients’ physical and cognitive status
  • Investigate MS and aging; i.e., patient characteristics and biomarkers associated with and predictive of improved quality of life and/or disease stabilization in MS patients as they age
  • Explore dietary interventions, bone health and exercise programs for patients with MS
