Building Fund

Lab of Microbiology & Immunology Professor Terry Connell.

This fund helps ensure that our students have access to modern technology, techniques and knowledge.

At the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, our mission is to graduate expert, caring physicians who are prepared to address the health care needs of today’s patients.

The new medical school building provides the perfect environment for delivering state-of-the-art education, innovative curriculum design and transformative experiences. This fund provides the sustained facilities investments to help ensure that the technology inside the building remains up to date, and that UB students are exposed to the most modern techniques, devices and medical knowledge available.

Having a medical school in the heart of Buffalo is the most important initiative for the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences since its founding. With state-of-the-art learning and research facilities, it attracts and retains world-class faculty, improves patient care throughout the region, and encourages prospective students to study—and eventually practice—in Buffalo.
