As part of our 20th anniversary celebration, the UB Gender Institute hosted an all-day symposium, entitled “She Persists,” at the Greatbatch Pavilion at the Darwin Martin House. The Symposium first honored the accomplishments of major women in Buffalo’s past and then turned to prominent women in the Buffalo community today.
