Humanities Institute Advanced PhD Fellowship

Overview

Fellows meet in monthly works-in-progress seminars to gain interdisciplinary perspectives on their research. Each department in the humanities, broadly defined, may nominate up to two candidates for the Fellowships, as selected by the department’s Director of Graduate Studies.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be a UB student in the humanities, broadly defined, who has exhausted their initial package of support from their home department.
  • Be nominated by their home department.
  • Participate in scheduled PhD Seminar sessions if selected.
