Funded by the American Society for Hematology, AGHA ecnourages students in the United States, Canada and Mexico to pursue a career in academic hematology. The award provides $40,000 annually for students conducting research on hematology-focused projects. It is open to doctoral students who have two years remaining in their program as of the award start date.

• Be an ASH member or pending member at the time of application.
• Be planning and comitted to relevant research in U.S Canada or Mexico.
