Marcia and Ezra Zubrow Award in Anthropology, Law, Library Science and Heritage

Overview

Dr. Ezra B. W. Zubrow and Marcia L. Zubrow created an endowed fund within the University at Buffalo Foundation, Inc. to be used for the purpose of supporting graduate students whose work is in the areas of heritage, culture, legal pluralism, labor policy or librarianship. Preference will be given to applicants who focus on the intersection of these topics in one, any two, or all three disciplines. Recipient(s) will receive up to $2,250, depending on available funding.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • be a full time graduate or doctoral student in one of the following programs:
    • Anthropology (excluding Critical Museum Studies and Evolutionary, Ecology and Behavior)
    • Law, including JD, LLM and dual JD and master’s degrees
    • Information and Library Science, with a preference in law librarianship
  • have a minimum 3.8 GPA

  2. Fill out the General Application. Note that this application must be completed each academic year.
  3. Complete the supplemental questions for the Zubrow Scholarship.
