Christianson Fellowship

Overview

This scholarship funds impactful service projects abroad with up to $10,000 in grant money to support motivated young Americans who are committed to perform meaningful service projects abroad. Fellows identify a project or an organization working on an issue they care about, and with the support of the Christianson Fellowship, contribute their skills and passion to that endeavor for at least six months on-location abroad.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • be a U.S. citizen or permanent U.S. resident
  • be 18-28 years old at project start date
  • Participate on-site in an internship or volunteer abroad project for at least 6 months
  • Demonstrate interest in project topic and outline specific project goals and impact measurables
  • Possess specific skill(s) to contribute to a community abroad
  • be excited to learn about another culture and share one’s own
  • answer Pre- and Post-Project Reflection questions and provide short videos and/or blog posts as well as photos detailing their experience abroad if chosen as a fellow
