Take a few minutes to make sure you have everything you need for a smooth start to the semester.
The first day of classes (August 29, 2022) will be here before you know it. Set yourself up for academic success by having a plan in place, with a schedule that includes time for studying, seeing friends and having time for yourself.
See your advisor if you have any questions regarding your major, academic schedule, or concerns about a class. Make sure you know your responsibilities before asking your advisor for help.
If you have an intended or approved major, check your HUB Student Center, Advisor Channel, to locate your Program Advisor/Advising Center for assistance.
The Advising Directory can also help your identify your appropriate academic advising center(s).
You may change standard (15 week) classes on your schedule (adding or dropping courses) at any time between your enrollment appointment until the end of the 7th day that classes are in session, including Saturdays.
Find course material information in HUB Student Center (via MyUB), and purchase/order everything you need! Don't sweat it if you haven't yet, though. Sometimes professors change their required materials, or make alternatives available. It might be worth it to wait for your first lecture.
