Undergraduate Student Project

Introduction

You start life with the genes of your parents, but what truly completes you is your life experiences.

Hi, I'm Moumita Hore, a senior majoring in Biomedical Sciences and minoring in Computer Science and Psychology. In my last semester of UB, I took Capstone (UBC399) under Dr. Kohler's guidance, to reflect upon and give shape to my holistic learning experiences in University at Buffalo by creating Capstone e-portfolio.

To make my e-portfolio, I had to look for multiple artifacts from my UB Curriculum classes since freshman year, re-evaluate what I learnt in those classes and in my extracurricular activities such as, research and dance. I used to think, throughout my college life I just took classes to get a grade, nothing more nothing less. However, as Capstone probed me to take a stroll down the memory lane, it made me realize that I indeed gained a lot of knowledge and that knowledge significantly enriched my thought process since high school graduation. I am a better critical thinker now. My overall patience level has increased significantly, which contributed to overcoming many challenges. Capstone was like the conclusive line, without which my story in UB would have been incomplete.
