Project description

Belouga was founded in 2017 by a UB alumnus with the mission of making education impactful and accessible on a global scale through peer-to-peer and classroom connection, communication and collaboration.

Belouga works with content creators, organizations and experts worldwide to create a streaming educational experience for students and teachers in over 120 countries, which sparks their creativity, builds a sense of global citizenship and aligns with their core subject and curriculum needs.

Project outcomes

  1. Create a global social media marketing strategy.
  2. Work with a team at Belouga to create social media content using the wealth of existing content on the platform.

Preparation activities

Once you begin the digital badge series, you will have access to all the necessary activities and instructions. Your mentor has indicated they would like you to also complete the specific preparation activities below. Please reference this when you get to Step 2 of the Preparation Phase. 

  • Watch this introductory video to learn more about Belouga. 
  • You will receive a login to the Belouga platform to explore content and brand messaging, along with access to best-practice and training materials on global classroom connections and collaborations. This strategy will be featured alongside Belouga’s global network of 150+ organizations supporting K-12 educational experiences, including the United Nations and UNICEF.
  • Additional preparation will be assigned through mentor consultation.
