Soda Consumption and Cerebral Vascular Function

Investigate how soda ingestion influences cerebral vascular function.

Project description

We have shown that the ingestion of soda with high-fructose content augments cardiovascular responses during physiological stress. However, it is not known if soda influences cerebral vascular function. We will determine if soda ingesting influences cerebral vascular function.

Project outcome

Students will present the data at the School of Public Health and Health Professions Perry Poster Day and/or a national conference.
