College of Arts and Sciences Ambassador “Lunch and Learn” Webinar Presentation

College of Arts and Sciences Ambassadors meeting with Dean Schulze.

In an effort to connect with new College of Arts and Sciences students, College Ambassadors have the opportunity to create and facilitate presentations for a "Lunch and Learn" webinar series.

Project description

The College Ambassadors are student volunteers who have been nominated by faculty and staff after demonstrating a commitment to academic excellence and community engagement. Ambassadors represent the College at a wide variety of events, serving as liaisons between the Dean’s Office and the student body. They are available to provide insight, advice, and information to current and prospective students, as well as their parents. In an effort to connect with new College of Arts and Sciences students, College Ambassadors have the opportunity to create and facilitate presentations for a "Lunch and Learn" webinar series. These webinars will be 30- to 45-minute presentations by College Ambassadors talking about a range of topics that may be of interest to new students, such as time management or getting involved on campus. Ambassadors may choose to present individually or as a group.
