Buffalo Healthcast: A Podcast by the Students, Faculty and Staff of the School of Public Health and Health Professions
Assist with all aspects of producing a podcast on health equity run by the faculty, staff, and students of the School of Public Health and Health Professions.
Project description
Faculty, staff, and students of the School of Public Health and Health Professions (SPHHP) are launching a podcast called the Buffalo Health Cast. The podcast series will focus on health equity to facilitate conversations about public health practice and research. Each semester will focus on a different theme within the umbrella of health equity. Students will engage in the following activities:
- Gather and organize photos, short bios, and titles of interviewees
- Develop social media content to promote podcasts
- Export and edit captions/transcriptions of podcasts
- Upload podcasts to Buzzsprout platform
- Follow up with co-hosts on status of planned interviews
- Coordinate with podcast lead on all of the above, including via weekly meetings
- Optional: interview guests for the podcast
Project outcome
The podcast series will focus on health equity to facilitate conversations about public health practice and research. Each semester will focus on a different theme within the umbrella of health equity.
