Help ensure that elderly community members are healthy and safe in Oyo State, Nigeria, through partnering with PriHEMAC organization.
The World Health Organization (WHO) asserts that ‘Healthy Aging’ plays a pivotal role in the attainment of at least 7 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with a focus on ‘fostering good health and wellbeing’ (Goal 3); others are SDGs 1, 2, 8, 10, 11, and 16.

With this context in mind, Primary Health Care and Health Management Centre (PriHEMAC) seeks to promote the health status and well-being of susceptible members of the communities with a focus on the elderly (as well as mothers and children). PriHEMAC includes experienced health professionals such as consultants, planners/managers, demographers, sociologists, anthropologists, statisticians, and resource consultants. Core activities include elderly day care services; consultancy, advocacy research and partnership (CARP) activities; and training. PriHeMAC invites UB student to participate in and contribute to related programs and activities.
