CTSI Open Research Office sessions feature important topics that can aid those involved in the research process.

Through the Open Research Office sessions, Clinical Research Facilitators collaborate with selected guest speakers on various topics relevant to biomedical scientists and research coordinators. There will be opportunities for Q&A and open discussion and attendees are encouraged to bring their questions, concerns, and ideas.

August 31 — Clinical Recruitment

This Open Research Office session will feature Ashley Regling, MA, Clinical Recruitment Coordinator for the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI).

Recruiting participants to clinical studies is a common barrier to successful research. This session will discuss clinical recruitment by providing an overview of the suggested recruitment timeline and the available recruitment resources. Specific recruitment resources that will be addressed include online study listings (such as and the Participate in Research Portal. This session will also discuss participant databases along with advertising and marketing tips, then finish with a question and answer session.

  • Issues specific to your clinical or behavioral study
