The University at Buffalo Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) has announced the awardees of digital badges — clickable icons signifying achievement in knowledge and skills related to clinical and translational research — from September 2020 to May 2021. The digital badging opportunities are free and open to all members of the Buffalo Translational Consortium, including students, faculty, and staff.
A total of 26 digital badges were awarded to 25 individuals in 2020 and 2021 for three of the CTSI’s core competency workshop series — three for Effective Teaching, 20 for Responsible Conduct of Research, and three for Scientific Communication.
The list of badge recipients includes students, faculty, staff and fellows from five UB schools, including the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, the School of Public Health and Health Professions, the School of Nursing, the School of Dental Medicine, and the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, as well as Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
