This hands-on, interactive workshop is designed to introduce participants to evidence-based learning principles and how to utilize these approaches and strategies in their teaching.

Topics include key learning principles such as the importance of activating prior knowledge and providing opportunities for practice and feedback; fundamental elements of course, class or lecture design, including the development of learning objectives and assessments of learning aligned with those objectives; and teaching strategies for fostering active learning and critical thinking.
