The session will explore the use of tools such as creativity, appreciative inquiry, mindfulness, narrative reflection, and improvisation to facilitate and enhance the process of scientific communication.

Whether the communicative process takes place between faculty and student, health care provider and patient, or colleague to colleague, improving the process of communication can lead to improved feelings of work satisfaction, better understanding of the disease state being dealt with, and an overall improved sense of well-being.
