Attendees will develop an appreciation for the role and importance of data management and discover best practices in data quality assurance and data verification. Finally, attendees will be introduced to the changing landscape associated with clinical trial data management.

This workshop will demonstrate the historical significance of human rights issues in clinical research. Participants will explore the current regulatory environment surrounding clinical research, including appropriation of jurisdiction for oversight among various Federal regulatory agencies. The workshop will also establish trending issues in global clinical research and their effect on the regulatory status of clinical research.
