The Geriatrics Fellowship is a one-year training program devoted primarily to clinical and didactic experiences to provide a sound knowledge base in geriatric medicine.

The Palliative Medicine Fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine is ACGME accredited and can lead to Certification of Added Qualifications in Palliative Medicine as approved by the American Board of Medical Specialties.

Social Work

The Hartford Partnership Program for Aging Education in the School of Social Work offers a unique opportunity for students to enhance their direct practice and leadership skills in gerontology. This Program is anchored by partnerships between universities and community-based agencies that develop their own local model to best fit their needs.
