Our center has conducted clinical trials testing agents that have gone all the way to FDA approval, such as insulin analogs and intranasal glucagon in type 1 diabetes along with weight management therapies for children with obesity. In type 1 diabetes, we are excited to be conducting pivotal trials of agents that aim to preserve the life of the beta cell in type 1 diabetes. Just as exciting is the testing of new in-class agents stimulating growth in children with severe stature.
