This study evaluated three secondary prevention drinking reduction interventions among problem drinkers in rural areas, both men and women, living in rural areas. RIA scientists assessed changes in alcohol and drug use, alcohol-related behaviors, and psychological and interpersonal functioning as a result of the interventions. Funded by a grant of $1,369,983 from NIAAA, 1997-2003.
