The university soon will begin offering COVID-19 vaccinations to all UB students as part of a SUNY program designed to vaccinate students against the coronavirus before they leave campus at the end of the spring semester.
Run by SUNY Upstate Medical University and Syracuse-based Quadrant Biosciences, the lab can process up to 150,000 saliva tests per week and is expected to improve the turnaround time for test results to 24 hours or less.
After months of virtual-only options, in-person campus tour and visit programs restart today, with several safety measures in place. Priority is given to admitted and deposited students for the fall 2021 semester. Prospective students will be directed to dates in June and beyond.
