The university has updated its policy on events and gatherings. Attendance at indoor events such as classes, labs and departmental meetings must not exceed 25% of the maximum occupancy for the event space. Up to 10 people are now allowed to gather for activities such as study groups and club meetings on campus. As always, attendees must wear face coverings and stay appropriately distanced from others. Student clubs should stay up to date with the COVID-19 guidelines for clubs and organizations and use the UBLinked event check-in app for any in-person activities.
Mandatory weekly COVID-19 testing of UB’s on-campus population started last week. Students are reminded to book their appointments to avoid potential sanctions.
