  • UB faculty and medical residents with frontline patient care responsibilities started receiving COVID-19 vaccines in December, and students with patient care responsibilities began getting their shots earlier this month. As vaccinations roll out across New York, state officials announced that a vaccination site serving the greater Buffalo community, in accordance with state eligibility guidelines, will be hosted on UB’s South Campus.

  • Helpful information regarding “What Students Should Know: COVID-19 and Returning to Campus” is compiled here in accordance with SUNY guidelines.

Resources for Faculty and Staff

    • CEI online teaching series. A half-day session on Jan. 26 will help faculty explore how they can move past the challenges of bringing innovative theory into practice in online and hybrid teaching environments.

Resources for Students

    • We’re Here for You. Students planning to live, work or take classes on campus or utilize any campus facilities this coming semester can find specific guidance regarding four steps they need to take starting Monday before coming to campus, along with information and resources to help all students start their semester successfully.
    • Important points to note. A recent communication from Graham Hammill, Ann Bisantz and Christina Hernandez provides an overview of what students need to know to ensure a safe, meaningful learning experience this spring.
