  • Social media promotion of UB’s Health and Safety Guidelines has garnered 2 million views and counting on the university’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts, reinforcing critical messages about face coverings, physical distancing and more. 

  • UB’s COVID-19 dashboard has been updated to reflect clarification from SUNY regarding the positive case threshold for the mandatory temporary suspension of in-person learning. 

  • In response to additional feedback from students, the university continues to enhance services and accommodations for quarantining students.

  • UB Anderson Gallery reopens this month with reduced hours and an online appointment system to ensure capacity stays below 25% maximum. UB CFA Gallery will reopen in October.

Resources for Faculty and Staff

    • Surveillance testing continues. As pooled testing procedures are expanded to include employees who report to campus, selected faculty and staff will receive notification by email.
    • Tips from the PSS. The Professional Staff Senate has compiled a list of resources to help staff members stay healthy and productive.
