How is campus mail delivery affected by the COVID-19 situation?

UB Campus Mail Services will deliver inbound campus mail once per week on Tuesdays beginning March 31, 2020 and continuing until further notice. The campus mail delivery schedule will be reviewed weekly and adjusted based on university need. Please follow these Campus Mail processes until further notice:

Interoffice mail

Please place interoffice mail that needs to be sent in your mailroom for weekly pickup

Outgoing mail

  • Postage already applied: Place in your unit’s mail room for weekly pickup (Tuesdays).
  • Needs postage applied (metered): Place mail in your unit’s mail room and it will be picked up and metered during normal Tuesday schedule.

UPS and FedEx

UPS and Fed Ex will deliver packages for closed departments to the Helm Warehouse on North Campus. If you are expecting a package via UPS, FedEx or other delivery service and need immediate access to it, please contact Jim Austin in Helm Warehouse (see below – be sure to bring your ID).
