What if I traveled internationally and am displaying symptoms of COVID-19?

Whether or not you have traveled internationally, if you are displaying symptoms of COVID-19, call your health care provider. Do not go to the office before calling — that will further spread the infection.

Students who are not feeling well are encouraged to consult with their family physician or UB Student Health Services, where the staff is prepared to answer questions and provide support.

The university has in place mandatory and precautionary quarantine protocols for confirmed cases of COVID-19 as well as those “under investigation” (being tested for COVID-19). In this case you should continue to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms and contact your local health provider or Student Health Service to discuss.  You may be asked to follow a Required Mandatory Quarantine while it is determined whether or not you will be tested for COVID-19.
