What is UB doing to promote behavioral expectations and compliance with the Health and Safety Guidelines?

Through the ongoing development and implementation of the campuswide health information campaign, “Together, we are UB,” the university continues to raise awareness about the importance of complying with the critical protocols outlined in UB’s official health and safety guidelines. Examples include:

  • large signs across North and South Campuses
  • lawn signs posted in more heavily trafficked areas where people are likely to gather
  • health and safety reminders inside buses and outside shelters near Founders Plaza
  • new signage inside buildings
  • the UB COVID-19 Planning and Response website,
  • across other UB digital properties, helpful videos, tips and content for returning to campus and how best to follow UB’s health and safety guidelines
  • a new “Safe Return to Campus” webpage offers guidance to employees on a range of issues
  • Student Life produced and curates a comprehensive guide dedicated to students
  • University social media channels are also posting health and safety content
  • distributing 1,500 packets containing information on UB’s Health and Safety Guidelines to students residing in the neighborhoods around UB’s South Campus.

Together, these elements will help the campus community adjust to a more health-conscious culture and create a safer environment for all.
