1/6/21: Spring 2021 Student Account Update

UB Office of Student Accounts sent the following email to all UB students December 31 to update UB students on important information about their UB Student Account and fee change for the spring 2021 semester.

The purpose of this communication is to update UB students on important information about your UB Student Account and fee change for the spring 2021 semester.

Parking & Transportation Fee

A 15-percent reduction in the Parking and Transportation Fee has been applied for the spring 2021 semester.  This fee reduction is pending SUNY approval.  The Transportation Fee ensures that services are available without interruption or reduction for students who are currently on campus as well as for students who will return to campus in the future. Service levels consistent with the fall semester will continue in the spring. Students will see the fee reduction reflected in the HUB Student Center.

Paying your Bill

  • The eBill notifications for spring 2021 semester will be emailed to students January 4, 2021

As a reminder, UB now offers these options to make it easier for students and families to pay their bill:

  • Cashless Payment: For the safety of students and staff, payments are no longer accepted in-person in 1Capen. Students are asked to pay online, through QuikPay (in your HUB Student Center). When paying online, payments are posted to the student account in real-time. The university does not charge a convenience fee for payments made with a credit card, debit card or eCheck. Checks and money orders can be mailed to:  University at Buffalo, P.O. Box 10068, Albany, NY  12201-5068.
  • UB’s Payment Plan: UB enhanced its Payment Plan to include these new features.
    • Students may enroll to pay in 3, 4 or 5 installments.

PLEASE NOTE:  Jan. 14, 2021 is the last day to enroll in UB’s 5-installment Payment Plan for spring 2021. Enrollment deadlines for the 3- and 4-installment plans are available on the Payment Plan web page.
