William J. Baker

William J. Baker, a supervisor in University Facilities, died suddenly on July 17 after suffering a heart attack. He was 61.

Baker joined UB in 2011, working in the recycling and moving and trucking departments at University Facilities. He previously had worked at Knox Farms for more than 20 years.

Baker’s co-workers say he was eager to help anyone at any time and treated everyone with respect. His professionalism, humor and devotion to his family and job will be greatly missed.
